A five-page website for a local business is not a hard job. It takes a few days. Somewhere along the way the industry decided to charge £5,000+ and eight weeks for it anyway.

Most of that time is not spent building. It is spent on discovery workshops, stakeholder decks, account managers relaying messages between you and the person actually doing the work, and three weeks of silence in the middle that nobody can account for. You pay for all of it.

AQ Sites exists to strip that out. One person builds your site, and you talk to that person. The price is fixed and published on this website. The work takes about a week because that is genuinely how long it takes.

Who this is for

Businesses at the point where not having a decent website is costing them work. A builder whose only presence is a Facebook page. A new consultancy with nothing to put on a business card. A shop whose site was made in 2014 and falls apart on a phone.

These are people who need a good website and a straight answer about what it costs — not a brand strategy engagement.

What we will not do

• Quote you a day rate. You get a fixed price up front. If we misjudge the work, that is our problem.
• Hold your site hostage. Your domain is in your name and you get the files. Leaving is easy, which is rather the point.
• Sell you a rebrand you did not ask for. If your logo is fine, your logo is fine.
• Take on work we cannot do quickly. If a project needs three months, we will say so and point you elsewhere.

Where we work

Based in Birmingham & the West Midlands, working with businesses anywhere in the UK. Most of it happens over a call and a shared link, so being local is a bonus rather than a requirement.
